Me for the past month.
I can’t believe my GC-self woke up from its 2 year deep sleep.

I disagree. Hahaha!
In the book by Lois Lowry, The Giver, one of the lessons that is embedded in the psyche of the people there is word precision.
For example, when you’re waiting in line at the cafeteria to receive food, you can’t say “I’m starving” because you aren’t. All you can say is “I’m hungry”. To starve pertains to food deprivation of a greater magnitude. So yeah.
I disagree that you are a nerd. HAHA.
For a nerd is:
- (according to Merriam-Webster) an unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person; especially : one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits
- (according to wikipedia) a term that refers to a person who avidly pursues intellectual activities, technical or scientific endeavors, esoteric knowledge, or other obscure interests, rather than engaging in more social or conventional activities. It often carries a derogatory connotation or stereotype. The nerd may be awkward, shy and unattractive. Therefore, a nerd is often excluded from physical activity and considered a loner by peers, or will tend to associate with like-minded people. Although the idea of nerds is popular, those adopting the characteristics of nerds are not actually nerds by definition. One cannot be an authentic nerd by imitation alone; a nerd is an outsider and someone who is unable or unwilling to follow trends.
- (according to Collins English Dictionary)  a boring or unpopular person, esp one obsessed with something specified a computer nerd;  a stupid and feeble person —> that was rather contradictory, wasn’t it?

It’s rather interesting to see where the term nerd is said to originate as well:

“The first documented use of the word Nerd is in the 1950 Dr. Seuss story, If I Ran the Zoo1, in which a boy named Gerald McGrew made a large number of delightfully extravagant claims as to what he would do, if he were in charge at the zoo. Among these was that he would bring a creature known as a Nerd from the land of Ka-Troo. The accompanying illustration showed a grumpy humanoid with unruly hair and sideburns, wearing a black T-shirt. A fitting image, these days, for a nerd.”

My point being… I love Dr. Seuss. HAHAHA

HAHAHAHA! 9 months later, I see this.
HELLO CLARAAAAA!!! I miss your physical presence in my life HAHA!
